This Valentine's Day, my husband and I had plans to get dinner from the Grand Concourse and stay the weekend in Pittsburgh. We planned to visit the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and take a walk to visit the shops in the Strip District. Unfortunately, COVID paid us a visit and we had to spend our Valentines Day at home. My husband and I decided that since we were feeling better after resting for a few days, we would make the most out of it!

Here is how our Valentines Day in Quarantine went:

We typically would have preffered our usual weekend coffee shop date, but we decided to make some lattes from home. Peter Jaussen pictured, having his morning coffee with me while I finished some homework.

Since we couldn't go out for dinner this year, we decided to bring dinner to us. We used Insta-cart to order a Valentine's dinner to cook.

We decided on grilling a steak dinner.

Allana and Peter Jaussen dressed and ready to eat! (and shockingly out of their pajamas)

The final product! Grilled steaks, asparagus, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

We finished the night watching a new show we recently started, Son's of Anarchy. We used our projector making it feel like we were at the movies!

Our Valentine's Day definitely wasn't what we expected, but we still had a good weekend and are starting to get over the virus! We hope to go out to dinner to make up for it after our quarantine is up!
